NPD has "collectors" car covers. They are flannel with a protectorant. I have a very delicate red-lacquer paint job. I have my car in a covered carport using a traditional car cover with the waffle/flannel. Hairline scratches are driving me crazy. Has anyone used one of these flannel covers in a carport. NPD says "maybe" use in a carport...I could cover it with my old one??? Recommendations appreciated!!

Depending on the climate I would think moisture would be a problem and possibly mold.Use 2 covers. Cover the flannel with a quality outdoor waterproof cover ?
