Well kids, after a brief sidetrip for a week after I lost all the lugnuts and ruined the driversside front wheel... I'm back on the road again. (now i'm waiting for the reimbursment check from the bodyshop :mad: )

Anyway, I was more than happy to lay a long pair of wavy lines on a road up by Mikes(66SSFAN) house to make sure all was good again.

Anyway... Cleaning up the car last night & tonight to prepare for the little show up in Duvall Tomorrow morn- but after that i'm dusting off the Sean Murphy prepped Holley 750 and see if we can't figure out how to make this thing run. :D

If i can't get it workin, i guess a trip out to Darryls will be in order so he can take this Orange hood off my hands (my fiance' will be very thankful!)

Anyway... Thats my friday update. Screw you guys- Goin home (to get out my car) :D

Glad your ride wasn't hurt.....bad deal them not torquing the lugnuts.

While I write, young Junior is out front mowing. Parenthood is great! I'm thinking I have a junk in secondaries part of the carb situation vs ign trouble with RatVette. May head to the garage soon to remove the top of that Big E carb I have on her. Daughter Christine wants to go cruising in the Vette, not the Elky..... Got about 12 "Nice Elky" comments this week.....and my car isn't even that nice.....

The Elky is a whole different ride now....tuning b4 the gear swap than the new gears...yikes! Brett had best be looking out. Gotta get that DS loop like you'd recommended, passenger inner fender for btty try attachment, and a few more things..... Also wanna give that front end a good looking over before I take her above 70.....

Wifey has class tonight, SQL programming. May get that car polisher from out GOTAGO out and make a few passes on my car. The drizzles have reduced the dust considerably...the ride is not covered in dust today...

Did not get a chance to play with the other carb yet... plus i figured it would be a good baseline to run it with this one, then run it again after we get the other one figured out.

I'll have to see when Darryl and I have weekend time that matches up, and i'll cruise up and check out his digs...
