Has anyone had any experience with a variable valve timing setup called Cam Correct. It looks to be a fairly basic setup that consists of a timing chain tensioner combined with a rub block. I guess the cam timing retards with rpm. Here's a link to one version Speedway sells-

I've also seen another version offered buy Competition Products that looks to be of higher quality. I wonder how it would hold up on the street.

Thats not a " varible " cam timing system, it is a Tensioner, it just takes the slack out of the chain.

The link I posted does show a tensioner but there is also another version that does indeed retart timing with rpm and it looks very similar. When the chain overcomes the spring tension on the tensioner then the cam timing falls behind do to the increased chain length between the sprokets on the drive side. They are available for big blocks as well. I'll try and find a link to post.
