Ok, like the title says, to those who have, or do, how do they handle on the street. My car isn't driven much, but when it is driven it's mostly on the street and an occasional trip on the interstate. But, I am trying to get the best out of it for when I take it to the track. I'm getting dangerously close to ordering my front end kit and new shocks now that I've dinged up my headers on the driver side... so I gotta do something, quickly.

Thanks in advance, guys!

I haven't logged a lot of miles with mine, but for the driving I did, I am satisfied. The flexibility of setting the ride height is great. I first had Hotchkiss springs - these were hard as rocks. Went back to stock, but rode too high. With the QA1's, ride is comparable to stock, but can also be adjusted - think I run my valving about the mid adjustment.

i used the cheap set(non adj.) for some reason the pass. side needs a lot more twists than the other side, but they seem to be ok-i have about 200 miles on them, a couple 1/4 passes, they have settled some, (b/b)
my own feeling is i wouldnt use them again, just simpler to order a set of lowering springs, do minor cuts for ride height

See Derek on the Pro Tour section. Keith aka KAA ran them on his Elky and worked great.

Jake,
I had a set of QA1 R's in my '70 for a couple years. Did just fine on the street. I recently swapped them out back to a conventional coil/stock setup as an experiment to see if more front end travel would improve my 60' times any. No real difference noted, at least in my car. Actually miss losing the QA1 shock's adjustability between the street and track.
Sold the coilovers but I still have the Global West tubular lower control arms specifically for the QA1's if you're interested...
