Iam about to buy my last dress item a polished intake everthing else is done valve cover, pulley's,all pumps, booster & master cylander, all brakets and even the A6 compressor. I am running a edle rpm performer now with a 750. My question is who's intake to use with the following needs high quaility polish for show and it must be able to transfer to a 502 in a year or so.

If show is your thing why not just buy one already polished then get it chromed locally. Buying it already polished would cut down the extra prep expense needed by the outfit doing the plating.
OR you could buy an Edelbrock manifold that is already done and spend a little extra time on the rough spots. They look OK straight from Edelbrock IMO.
A friend of mine is polishing his own SBC Vic Jr and has A LOT of time into it. It looks almost as good now as a new polished Edelbrock manifold - will probably be nicer when complete.
Just an idea.

If you have everything you need to polish an intake efficiently, by all means try it yourself.
But, for 99% of us, it is money well spent to buy them already polished.
I have a polished intake on my small block, which you can see if you follow the link in my signature line.
