Just wondering if this intake is a good intake for performance, or if it's an old turd not worth the aluminum it's made out of?

i used to have that one on my 327 i got it off another 327 that caught on fire, mine was "free" but i had to get it bead blasted (50 bucks) and then base coated it and then clear coated it, looked good and still looks good even though i dont use it anymore cleans up real nice with a rag and some water. not suer i would spend more than 50 bucks on it since you will have to pay for shipping and making it look good. just my .02 cents good luck!!!

Looks like the auction ended at $36. I happen to know a guy with an intake like this. Wasn't sure if this is one of the crappy intakes like the Torker 2 or the Xcellerator, or if it's one of the better intakes like the Performer RPM.
BTW I'd probably end up painting it anyways to match the engine, biggest thing is I don't want to buy it only to find it's no good for performance.
It's for a 350 or 400 application, in case anyone wonders...

Looks like a factory replacement style (dual plane, spread bore, low rise).

Well the guy clearly says its a highrise in the info about it. It actually looks like and older ersion of the holley 300-36 intake. just bought one to place on my 283. Havent gotten to haul on it yet but i seem to like it so far.
