Looks awesome, Brian. Can't wait to hear how it runs  I seem to recall your car was launching pretty well with the old mill. Any suspension changes planned/needed to cope with the extra torque? Still going to run on the radial tire?

Boy there is just something about a AFR headed BBC that gets the juices flowing. Which shaft mounted rockers are those and how much did they cost?

BTW which lifter did you use?

Before I pulled the engine 2 yrs ago, I put in an HRparts antiroll bar, and double adjustable upper and lower solid rod end control arms. I will be running 4.10's now and a 4500 converter instead of 3000 :) and 4.56's Should be a little different I think!! I am planning on switching back to the 30x12.50 Et streets.

Very nice 66. I would really like to see the numbers after you get it back to the track.

I would have loved to dyno it, just to see the power curves,....but nearing the end of completion and the money is getting tight. It's in the car now and almost ready to go. The track will tell the #'s anyhow :) I've seen to many dyno racers run a poor number, so I will continue to build, install, and tune by the clocks.

The cam was spec'd by Chris Straub and designed around max ET performance, while providing valvetrain reliability for street use.
It is spec'd to be peak HP @ 6500 rpm and provide a very broad torque curve.
