I recently pulled my intermediate steering shaft out to put in a new engine because it was in the way of the headers. Now I can not seem to get my steering wheel straight. For me to drive straight I need to drive with the wheel at at 30-40 degree angle. I have tried taking the top and bottom of the intermediate shaft off, but it doesn't look like either one will let me adjust how the wheel sits. ANy help would be appreciated.

Was it straight before you took it apart?

when you took the shaft off, did you take the rag joint with it?
if so, it's possible you put it back on the steering shaft a few splines off.
i think you can do that on some older steering boxes- what year are we talking about here?
