Well, junk yards don't have them anymore ... Ebay has stupid prices for complete carbs!

I'm looking for a 7/8" fuel inlet (3/8" line) ... and a secondary valve dampener rod (between diaphram and air valve). Are there vendors out there for this stuff?

Thanks, Neal

7041207 is the carb I'm working on. Real basic Chevy carb I want to put on my BBC. I've got about 10 spare Q'Jets ... and about the only part I don't have a single spare for, is the rod ... and all my fuel inlets are 1".
Thanks, Neal

If you're in Ohio, Cliff Ruggles may have the parts you're looking for.

He's the guy that wrote the other book on Qjets.

Buy a piece of welding rod, make your own linkage. Drill a small hole in each end for the tiny spring clip or cotter pin 'n' washers you'll use to hold it in place.

It'll take 1/1000 the time to make a replacement as to go hunting all over, and then have it mailed to you.
