: where does the 68 exhaust exit???? Whampch May 28th, 07, 9:33 PM I have been searching the internet trying to find where the exhaust exits on a 1968 ss 396. My uncle is putting a custom 3in stainless exhaust put on and my dad and i want it look like stock ( It wont sound like stock:D) We only seen 1 other 68 and it was a race car. Thanks, Dave Dave I got it from www.gardnerexhaust.com and it was around $800.00 but it isn't stainless.
