Hey guys, I am thinking about ordering the new Jacobs FC 1000 ingnition system with the matching C-4 coil. Does anyone have any experience using this product. If this system is not very good, then I will go with the MSD 6a and the blaster 2 coil.

I put a Jacobs system on one of my engines while we had it on the dyno and lost 40 HP when compared to a stock HEI. Talked with Jacobs tech, tried everything they suggested. Sent the system back to them, they reported no problems with the system. Put the HEI back on and got my 40 HP back. Draw your own conclusions.

There's your answer from a guy who knows. So Gary, saw in the mags that with ALL your spare time, you're racin' now. How goes the battle.
