I just had Mondello port and mill a Victor Junior 2902 manifold to run on my 502 with the AFR 315 heads. My car is a Corvette so I needed the milling to fit under the hood. Anyway, the heads are not milled but I noticed looking down through the ports on the intake that the intake ports are bigger than the head ports by about 1/8 of an inch on the bottom. The other problem I had is the 1275 fel pro gaskets really were mis aligned by alot so I had to trim quite a bit on the tops of the head ports so at some places there is not much gasket height left. I assume this was the correct gasket. Will I be alright with the gasket this way and how much hp am I losing with this port mismatch. Thanks for the comments.

I'm not sure about BBC's, but on SBC's I've commonly heard/read that having an Intake Manifold port bigger than the intake port on the head is unnaceptable.
