I posted under the title "Good Buy?" some heads, blocks, tranny and a few other items I am thinking about buying. The heads are freshly rebuilt never installed, same with the tranny. Blocks are said to be in great shape and useable. What areas on this stuff should I be aware of when I go to look at them? ie, where will usually cracks, and signs of warping be?

Hard to check without Magnaflux. Make sure valve seats arent too deep ( indicating numerous valve jobs ), blocks all you can do is a visual inspection unless you have a bore guage.
