My 70 has the stupid buttons from a long lost bed cover. I now have a 68 parts truck that has nicer bed trim but I can't figure out how to pull it without tearing it up! Somebody enlighten me! OR sell me a cheap manual so I can figure it out myself! I really hate the buttons and will most likely sell the parts truck so I need to steal the trim while the getting is good. Thanks if you can help.....

Its kind of hard and feels like you're gonna break it, but you won't.
The long bed rail peices go over the top of the front and rear corner trims so you have to get them first.
Standing on the outside of the bed, center of the rail- Reach your palm over the bed chrome and grab the bottom of it and start pulling it out and up (in twards the bed and up.
There are about 6 clipson each side and they snap on. Once you have the released the inside snaps then just roll it towards the outside and off.
Sounds easy, but its tough getting the inside part of it released. The key is to pull it inward towards the center of the bed- then up.
Good luck!
