Trying to figure out what to put in this engine. Would like to put out 500-mid 500s HP. Have original 69 closed chamber heads 98 cc if i can remember correct. Want to run my L-61 tri-power set up. Looked at comp cams, roller, solids or hydry, and what type pistons? Any advise. Thanks Bruce

Is it going to be just a street car? You could also drop in a 454 crank to get some extra cubes.

If you go Roller Cam, I recommend you get the Lifter Bores Machined For Alignment making it a TRUE Roller Design. You will not have to contend with Cam-Walk Forces and worry about ZDDP Content in your Oil. Plus you will be able to run a Larger Diameter Lifter and Bigger Roller. GM never worried about the accuracy's of Lifter Bore Alignment back then and Retro Fitting an Engine Block designed for Flat Tappet Engine does not exclude you from requiring ZDDP in the Oil.
If you want to run Pump Gas, I suggest you shoot for around 10 to 10.5 Static Compression and not exceed an 8.2 Dynamic Compression.
As far as Parts go:
TRW Speed Pro Forged Pistons are reasonably Priced.
BBC Eagle SIR I Beam are good for 700 Hp and probably cheaper then refurbishing your existing Rods. I do not think a Forged Crank would be necessary.
An Edelbrock RPM would out perform that Tri-Intake but if you want to keep it I suggest you look into something like 3 TBI Units RON's Fuel Injection http://www.ronsfuel.com/ just might have what your looking for.
