Rented the track out with a bunch of other guys and was able to do some actual testing and tuning.
Got 10 runs in!
Changed jets, timing and launch technique.
Made two runs after each change.
What fun! graemlins/hurray.gif graemlins/hurray.gif
I did find out that my car is just about squeezing
as fast a time as possible with what I have. Track was excellent.
It was so sticky, your shoes would make sucking sounds if you walked accross it.
Also got a chance to run the tree for awhile.
This is nearly as much fun as racing. :D :D
My new best time.
(Reaction sucked, they set a pro tree
and I wasn't used to it.)
RT 1.09
60 ft. 1.88
ET 12.28
MH 111.94
I just could NOT get a lower 60 ft.
I even tried a couple launches at 4500 rpm.
Never spun a tire off the line.
Car bogs as soon as the dead weight catches up
with the torque available. It is fine the rest
of the way down the track.
Any suggestions for a better 60 ft are welcome.
