Are all 12 bolt rearend yokes the same? Are they different between cars, trucks and years? Thanks for the info.

Not too sure about trucks but cars can accept larger u-joint sizes such as a 1350 size. They can also be made from stronger metals etc.

When I had to put a new yolk in my rear, I ordered one and found out that their were a few different yolks. Not sure how to tell the difference, I just ordered one and it turned out it was the right one. Maybe someone will chime in that knows the difference.

I broke my stock yoke and ordered one from Summit (Moser)... It was a little "taller" (I recall about 1/2") and therefore wouldn't work with my driveshaft. I'd push the driveshaft into the tranny all the way and was barely able to get the rear u-joint into the yoke...

As for the truck, not sure on the spline size, but generally the truck 12-bolt is a completely different rearend...
