Please don't screw up a Chevelle with 20's. At most, use 17's.

no offense intended. buy the whole wheel, a rim is no good without the whole center section. LOL. your suspension wasn't designed for that size wheel. Your brakes will be less effective due to the leverage of the wheel radius and the extra weight. the more unsprung weight you add the harsher the ride. Your cornering ability will slow down too, you will have to start your turn sooner than with 14s or 15s. and lastly it will make your car look shorter and fatter. there are two 85 Montes locally with 30s that look like stage coachs.

no offense guys but i like that look and i respect your opinions. also i'm talking about 20's not 30's. i think with the right stance it will look nice.. people have diferent styles and mine is not like yours so sorry if i hit a nerve with that questions. just wanted to get some specs on what would fit that's all.

While it isn't for everyone, some people like the look. I think the 70 in the first reply with a link is cool. Not for me, but it does have a pretty cool look.

Donks are 71-75 Caprices/Impalas, not any car with big rims.

don't worry what everyone else says. If they all told you to drive a civic... would you? :)

That Black 70 SS illustrates how good 20's can look,if done correctly.
My former 68 El Camino had 17x8 fronts and 20x10 rear TT II's back in 1996.

I just stuck them on to check it out. I'm doing some suspension mods I hope the front end is a little lower after the work.
