I know you guys have probably seen them. Nice shiney aluminum covers but they come with no timing marker. So I buy an after market morroso pointer and it won't fit because the aluminum cover is thick and the bolt holes won't meet up. I even tried to "alter" the pointer to no avail. Anyone? BTW, BB chevy

Stacey,

I'm running an Edelbrock aluminum (thick) timing cover on my BBC. I have a timing pointer made by Tavia that works really well. Summit (and Jegs) sells them:

Thanks Ken! I really enjoyed your web site. Took me about a half and hour to read it all. Very Nice! Stacey
