Well I replaced my Intake Gasket on my World 427 and yes I called the insured warranty company and No it was not covered under warranty. It seemed funny when I called saying I had a leak at my Intake (coolant) they knew where it was leaking. Anyways the warranty company told me to use Permatex "The Right Stuff" on the Block rails , around the coolant passages and a light smear around the intake runners. I read a forum not use The Right Stuff around gasoline , Do you think this will effect what I did? I let it dry 24 hours before I fired and everything seems ok so far. Let me know what you guys think,,,

I use it on the ends and Hi-tac around the ports and water jacket to hold during assembly. Very light coat around ports and water passage then I keep the manifold dry and set it down carefully. Has worked for me for many years on many engines.
