Drove it for the first time in almost two and a half years of restoration. Off to the trim shop in the morning and hope to be at CB07.

Ran really good the engine looks stock but has a different cam and some extra stuff done to the heads to make it sound really good and perform nicely.

Looks good Les. Can't wait to see it. Two more weeks. I see red line radials. Are you gonna drive it to CB or tow it?

Bill, I will have to trailer it to CB07 because I don't have time to road test it for any potential problems or adjustments.

Looks great Les!
I finnaly got around to installing that radio you sold me in my elk- looks good!

Hey, do you have the SS396 Foil front marker bezels on your car?

Do you think you could take a closeup Hi-res digital pic and e-mail it to me?
I'm trying to have a sign shop make me a couple vinyl ones for my car, but I need a really good closeup of the foil to get the lettering & numbers shaped right.

Thanks!
Ben

Ben, Thanks for the compliment on the SS and good news on the radio, does it work?

I do have foils on the car that I bought off eBay but I saved my originals. Give me your addres and I'll send you one of my original nasty dirty faded bezels complete with factory foil and you can get a perfect copy that way.

The guy I bought mine from is getting the foils made in Aluminum and acquiring old bezel frames, having them rechromed and selling them for a handsome amount in his auctions.
