I have done a lot of work for my best friend and he is parting out an 89 IROC and i was thinking about nabbing the serpentine belt setup with the NEW GM Water pump(maybe a month old), Good alternator, new belt, new A/C compressor, and decent p/s pump. Will this all bolt to a 69 307 block with factory a/c and p/s.
Thanks for any help

He is letting me have the TPI Setup :D for real cheap so i figured i would go ahead and get the serpentine setup for a cleaner look.

as long as you have accesory holes in your heads, it'll work. The TPI intake will need the center bolt holes elongated though. Get the wiring, fuel lines and pump if you can.

The AC compressors are different, so you'll need to swap them too. Good time to change to 134. You'll need electric fans or a reverse rotation mech. fan. The PS pump will have a metric fitting I think. You'll need a conversion fitting or a custom pressure hose. The alternator wiring is different. Yours is externally regulated stock. Your old alternator will fit in the new bracket though. You'll need the IROC alternator to use the TPI though. They have a higher output at low rpm to keep the voltage up.
I don't remember what year GM went to the baffled gas tank. If it was 89, you could probably ebay the tank.
