Is this a piece of junk made in China, or is it worth the $109 asking price?

Where are you located? Thats the same intake that you can get with Scoggin Dickeys vortec head kit, we have the Performer equivalent,not the RPM, sitting in a box in the garage. My son wanted the Air Gap so the other is of no use. I've heard that they have Edelbrocks old molds and they produce a better casting,less porous??? just hearsay,not sure though.

I have a Professional Products (single plane)manifold on my Fast Burn heads. The casting is on the rough side but some aluminum paint with a clear coat cleaned it up.

I'm in Houston. Guess I need to update my profile. I'm looking for a set of vortecs heads and I'm looking for the manifold to match. The eldelbock performers will not work for me as I'm looking for a street strip combo that will spin up to 5800 or so. The edelbrock RPM is probably what I need.

What do you mean a Performer won't work up to 5800??

I ran my 406 above 6,000rpm with an older 2101 I bought before the performer came out and it ran just fine on my car for the street..

Drove her at least 80 miles daily for a year commuting!!

But I sure didn't like the 15 mpg stuff, tho!!!

I was referring to the "idle-5500RPM" power band that the Performer manifold is advertised to suit. The performer RPM seems a better choice for an engine spinning over 5500. No doubt a performer would work, just seems the Performer RPM is a better choice for me..
