Anyone ever use American Classic Restoration in Uxbridge, MA?? Anyone plan on using them??

Don't know what your experience was, but I used them to restore/refinish the dash bezel on one of my '70 Chevelles as they do the vacuum metalizing process. Excellent work! Only downside is the length of time it takes. Took almost 4 months to get mine done. I have recommended them to several folks who have had the same results.

From what I understand, the equipment used to 'metalize' the parts is not something that is fired up for each piece being restored. I remember being informed of this when I sent mine in...apparantly they need to have a batch of items to plate to make it worthwhile.

I used them twice. Once for converting my AM/FM to digital (with iPod wiring), keeping the stock appearance and function, and I sent my speedometer for recalibrating and my clock for quartz conversion. I am really happy with their work, and wouldn't hesitate using them again. The work took around 4 weeks, but definitely work it. Paul

They did my arm rest backing plates for my 68 and did a great job in a resonable amount of time.
