I hooked up a mechanical oil pressure guage to my big block and with my homemade oil primer i spun the oil pump on high speed with my drill. I am using a stock volume, high pressure spring mellings pump. I got 70PSI out of each port to my suprise, i thought only one of the ports would have pressure, it is a mid to late 70's 454. i believe the 2 ports are for a cooler? one is really big like 1" pipe thread and the other 3/4". does this sound correct? i need to hook up my fuel pump fitting(turns on pump when there is oil pressure) and my oil pressure guage fitting, so having both of these ports would be nice!

This may be a dumb question, but Bob, what does "ttt" mean? I was watching this post, because I am building my first BB from a bare block, and this kind of info has been very useful. Thanks, Kirk.
