Where can I find a set of BIG tube headers. The ones on my car are too small and I need some bigger ones. Do I have to get them custom made? and if you got any pics that would help me decide what size i'm really needing. thanks!

Surely you can't be serious, buy/build an engine like that and have no idea where to get headers

Rickie,
Off the shelf Hookers or Hedmans will work OK with your combination. 2" or 2 1/8" primary tubes are big enough for your present engine configuration. Anything bigger will not enhance the power or torque output.

Yup Ditto, the 2" Hooker will fit nice ( #5 tube *might* need a ding), and I would HIGHLY encourage you to use scavenging collectors or a 3.5X 3" X pipe to get that NO2 out the cylinders more effectively. I dont really have a great pic of the headers, but plug access is fine ( you need a 3/4" wrench on 6 ) and wire routing with 135 degree boots is excellent.

Not a great header pic but... (http://www.chevelles.com/showroom/427TRI/3x2.jpg)

I've been searching information on header design (OT for my Jeepster w/a Buick 340") and here are a few links which my be useful to someone.

I'll start ordering tubes and flanges soon. I'm still waiting for time on the cnc mill to make head flanges.
Cover me, I'm going in graemlins/beers.gif
