: What 11" drum to buy for conversion

I have installed the 11" backing plates on my 71 Chevelle with no problem. But I went to buy the drums and brake parts to finish it up, using a 76 Caprice as the source car and found the bolt pattern is different. Also the center hole is larger.

Anyone know what car or truck would have 11" drums but with the right axles on the 71? I think the 3 1/4" drum are right but I can't get them over the lugs to test it. Help please.

When I check the Checker and Autozone websites for these I don't see any 11" brakes. They don't show a Landau option in 74 and the 84 Buick is it a Regal Grand National?

i believe all 76 and 77 Montes had the 11" brakes.. try www.napaonline.com - NAPA is far better than Checker or Autozone.
as for my cars- the Monte is indeed a Landau- notice the vinyl top- and the Regal isn't a GN. it is a T Type- a GN was an option on the T Type from 84-86. in 87 they were a seperate model.
so i guess it can be thought of as a blue on blue GN without a rear spoiler.

Cool, finally something that works with the 4.75" bolt pattern. Great and thanks again.

Does anyone know of an assembly pictoral that can help me with putting these brake parts together? I expected the parts to be just like the 9 1/2" but bigger. I don't think that is the case and need a picture or diagram of how this works.

the parts are pretty much the same as the smaller brakes, just shaped a little different. it shouldn't be that hard to figure out what goes where.
