Well I finally pulled the trigger on becoming a member. The car has been sitting in the garage to long. It is time to get it back out in the sun. I have been contemplating the level of resto necessary for a while. Fired her up the other day and got a nasty surprise from leaking freeze plugs. Pulled the carpet out and go a nasty surprise from rusted through floor pans. Pulled the back window and got another nasty surprise from rust in the sill. Arggg

Any tips? I can handle all things drive train and interior, but I am not a body man. No welding experience. Was going to get it back out on the road and drive it to a good body man for straightening and paint.

You'll see all the local guys that are on here. Several of guys are on their way right now to the Chevelle/ElCamino show at Smokey Point today.
Jump in your daily driver and get up there for some inspiration and networking with a great bunch of guys. The show will last until 3:00 or so.

I'd be up there but I have to head to work in 30 minutes. :sad:

Also, Wendys parking lot north of Silver Lake/just east of I-5 in South Everett is getting popular on Friday nights, and Clearview Albertsons parking lot is the Saturday place to be in the evenings.

Most of the guys in CE are on meds anyway. Drugs or booze. Take 300mg of Avapro daily myself. Switching to Avalide so my legs don't look so blotchy. Chicks dig tight bottoms.
