I know this belongs in the body shop area, but I can't help showing off my progress to anyone that will look. Besides now that it is all coming together this could be considered a performance topic right?

You're going to have to change your username :D I looked at all the pics. I love to see the before and after stuff. Man, that project is like a mirror of the project I've had going for nearly two years. It looks absolutely awesome man  I'm with you... I always feel hesitant to post threads like this in the performance forum, but this is the forum I use the most, so I do it anyway. Thanks for sharing and good luck with the reassembly :)

What paint you use on the floors and frame? Is that POR15 or epoxy?

Because I was so freaked out about how much rust this car had I coated the bottom of the car with a brushed on coat of POR15 and then sprayed two coats of PPG black. I cut out and replaced anything that even looked like rust, but I think the extra step of doing the POR15 should seal the deal. The frame, a-arms and rear end just got the two coats of PPG black.

I have a 295/50 out back. I also moved my inner wheel well so that it only sits on top of the frame rather than just to the outside like form the factory, and I cut my quater and outer wheel well lip down to about 3/4" and welded it solid for strength. So I am considering going to a 325/50. The 295s have plenty of room right now.

NIce, I have 2 quarts of POR but not sure if I'm going to use that + epoxy. I think on the underside if would be good, but overkill on the interior.

Nice job. How long that take you?

This is my fifth year of working on this car. Most of that was while I was still in collage working on a electrical engineering degree, so needless to say progress was slow. Thanks for all the compliments, it really feels good to finally see years of work starting to come together.
