: Going to America
aukai May 17th, 07, 11:52 AM Today my wife and I are flying to Berkly Ca. to attend the graduation ceremony of our son (my stepson) He is a mechanical engineer getting his Phd. he can't find the screws to change a headlight but I am damn proud of his accomplishment. He is more into the rocket science stuff and has been on scholarship since high school. I will be like a fish out of water there wish me luck. We have a Dr. in the family!! :hurray:

Phil Keller May 17th, 07, 4:18 PM Be more specific. He can't locate the headlight screws to remove them, or he can't find the ones that were removed?
Dale Eikmeier May 17th, 07, 4:37 PM [QUOTE=BB_Mike;1351301]California is not representative of America. ;)
Taken individually neither are any of the other 49 states. Collectively they are America.

Probably had to re-invent the screwdriver since it was off poor design, remember he's a PHD in engineering. It's either that or he's a train doctor.

Sean the last time I checked it was still part of America, just barely. Seems like it is slowly moving south into Mexico.
Isn't Berkley in a world of its own anyway?
Congrats on the phd!

aukai May 20th, 07, 11:12 PM Phd is a doctorate of philosophy not a medical dr. but higher degree (and more expensive) than a masters. He is 26 now and has been in school for 9 years. Just imagine he can get a JOB now close to if not 6 figures. Now my feet are just barely hanging on feels like I will need an ankle transplant my dad was kind enough to give me flat feet. Berkeley see I can spell I got some edumacation. Thanks for the kind words.
Aloha Mike
