I'm looking to install a floor shifter to replace my column shifter. Any suggestions on a nice after market setup that would work with a turbo 350.

Thanks smile.gif

For my rides I like the B&M pro stick and the Hurst quarterstick with the pistol grip. I like having the ratchet action and both are somewhat similar in operation The Hurst is more expensive but every once in awhile there is a good deal to be had on Ebay. That's my preferences for autos smile.gif Other opinions maybe be different.

Thanks for the input smile.gif .I'm also removing my bench seat and installing buckets. The interior is really nice and I want to go with a floor shifter that is sporty but not look out of place with the stock interior.

Turbo Action cheetah, the easiest shifter to use.

You can buy a nice grain consol with it for $30, they make one without the switch panel.

BTW thats a light reflection on the seat.

I'm going to try re-use my factory auto console, but with a B&M Megashifter in place of the factory staple shifter. I think it would look pretty cool, I know it at least woulden't look out of place.

If you want a simple inexpensive reliable shifter take a look at the B&M Z gate. I have one in my S-10 and it works great.

Another vote for the B&M Megashifter or Starshifter either one, they work fine in a street/strip ride graemlins/thumbsup.gif

I would reccomend the B&M Starshifter, I have one in my 72 and it looks good in it. It has a nice ratchet action to it and it fits the street machine style I'm going with with my Chevelle.

i had a starshifter in my chevelle for about 3 years.i wore it slap out from constant shifting.it held up fairly well considering the daily abuse i gave it.it is now utterly useless and headed for the trash.about 8 months after i bought it the little plastic "T" on the (actuator rod?) broke off in my fingers.i welded a custom made metal piece in place of the inferior plastic part.i think B&M got smart and started making them out of metal now.i bought a Hurst Quarter Stick Pistol Grip Shifter this go-round.i like the Hurst name better. graemlins/thumbsup.gif
