After having to steal my car back from a supposed friend who was going to paint my car, I found out he neglected to properly cover the rear window glass when doing some sand blasting in the trunk area. The rear glass is now etched and i'm wondering if there is any way to fix this. It's not the whole window only near the top and bottom. Will the eastwood kit fix this? thanx for any suggestions.

I,ve not had any luck with the polishing kit. I wasted two days and the kit and ended up buying date coded glass.

You could probably polish it out, but it would take about a year. Better look for some new glass.
