I love that show.

The Charger was cool as was the 57....but damn it'd be cool to see a righteous Chevelle on there next year....

that show annoyed the hell out of me...did they get penalized for speeding and I just missed that part or what? thats the only way I can see a POS ford truck lasting that long in the "race"

The Ford is still in it because they have a huge fuel tank, and don't have to search for gas every couple of hours. They're not supposed to exceed the speed limit, and if they're caught, they can be penalized. If their car is impounded, they're out, because they have to drive across the finish line in each leg. I'd love to do that race, but I'd need an overdrive trans to be competetive, fuel-wise. Navigation and driving skills are key, and some of those teams have done themselves in by not keeping those facts in mind.

By the way that POS ford f150 is supercharged along with numerous other performance mods to it. That T/A is awesome too, man that thing is making some serious power!!!!

My buddy and I are trying to apply for a second season. I wouldn't use my chevelle though, I would use my 92 camaro. Great gas mileage, it handles and stops awesome, and just enough power to do what it has to do. Plus it's comfy, the wife and I took it the 700 miles each way to Chevllabration last year and got 28 mpg average, and I didn't hear her complain at all about wanting out of the car.
