We were out at Irwindale raceway one day and a guy approached us and said he worked for Car Craft. He told us he would like to get Lou's Chevelle in the magizine. The article came out this month, pretty cool.

We are ordering a Sportsman Fogger for it next week ;)

John, no question that Louie has a nice Chevelle - definitely stealthy as people would generally never expect it to be the bullet that it is. How is his Monza coming along?

I think I let my Car Craft subscription lapse on accident, was it Marco that hit you up for the article? Way cool guy, used to work with HotRod and hangs out with Steve Maganate alot at the track and whatnot...

Tom: The race car is comming along. Lou has it torn down and is painting the frame, etc. Looks like we are going to get some better heads for it, cam etc. The plan is to put it in the low 9's so it can be competitive.

that is truly, truly a nice ride. but one thing caught my eye in the engine bay pic- that is one pretty engine bay, with nothing but aftermarket parts as far as the eye can see- and it's got the "keep your GM car all GM" sticker on the rad support. i love it..

thanks for the posting John,,, and thanks to the responses from everyone...i thought that was a Great Sticker to put on the front Rad-cover,ha ha ...that sticker is the ONLY G.M. thing under the hood... graemlins/beers.gif

That car is sweet. I'm confussed about the paint though. I though that green was offered in 71? At least it looks like the green my car was painted.
