Please do a search. I am sure you will find a recent post about the heads. In general I think most people experiences have been more negative then positive.

I have a set of 200cc iron protoplines...they was absolutely horrible right out of the box. Seems their QC is all over the place...some comment on how beautiful the castings are and how perfect all the machine work was. Mine certainly was not like this. I won't ever get another set.

It has been documented this company is in limbo right now.You might hold off on making a decision untill this company is back on it's feet.

Bought some 200cc Iron pros.... casting looked great.... valve guides sucked, and they cracked between the valve seats after 4000miles. And I didn't put down anywhere near the power it "should" have.

The above posts pretty much tell it all.
Basically it's a crapshoot.
I have done quite a few sets & some look very nice, others looked,,, to put it politely, a little rough :D
A number needed the valve guides resized which means the seats needed to be redone.
Pro says you just need to hone the guides & assemble them which is total crap graemlins/angry.gif
Any time you do anything to the guides you should redo the seats.
If you are going to use them I would suggest that you buy them bare & have your friendly local machine shop check & assemble them.
A lot of the "good deal" mail order ones are bought & assembled without regard to clearances. If you buy them this way take them apart & check them.

i would look into another brand personally. there are good and bad castings no matter which kind you buy, it's the world we live in today, where quantity means more than quality. the difference is that if you get a bad set from Topline you're likely stuck with them. it took me over year to get my castings replaced from them, and they were not out of business then. as far as i know, they are not making those heads at this current time, that may or may not change. better look elsewhere. .02
