hello everyone, im not a chevelle owner but my dad has two of them...might as well be mine right?:D he bought a bone stock 65 malibu back in 95(i was 15). it was a nice unrestored car, needed some work but a good driver. he finally decided to spend the $$ on it about 2 yrs ago and did pretty much everything but a frame off. its not a show car by any means, just a slick driver:thumbsup: well the reason im here is two days ago he bought another 65, but this ones a convertible and a SS:D the only thing is its about 1/2 way through a frame off and its in pieces. the guy got tired of messing with it and wanted it gone. all it really needs is to be painted and put back together. hes made arrangements to have a guy finish it, but he wont be starting on it for two weeks. what im courious about is decoding the vin and ive got a pic of the tag under the hood on the drivers side firewall if anyone can help...?? i dont have the VIN just yet, but im going to get it soon... When you get your Vin No., put your question under the Tag Team form, they know there stuff and you will get a quick answer. Also check this link out, you might get your answer before you ask.
