I bought a core that has the case and bearing plates from a fellow TCer (thanks AdamLym) It is missing the rotors(and pretty much everything else). I have been searching online at a few websites for getting this rebuilt and it appears that they are not cheap but cheaper for a new unit alltogether.

One place wants 700 bucks for a set of rotors! Is this typical on what I will have to spend on it? Plus an intake thats another 600 bucks for the site I looked at.

I have gone into this blindly as I am not very familiar with blower units themselves but I am eager to get it rebuilt.

Who has had a unit rebuilt and what will I expect to pay to have this done?

you would be better off buying a complete used unit or new unit. from what it sounds like your buliding the whole unit from parts not actually rebuilding anything. your gonna pay out the nose for all that stuff. get a good used blower manifold on ebay.
