: Are my AFR's missing something?

I'm finishing up my 540 and was putting on the intake manifold. There are two bolt holes/bosses on each side of the manifold. However, my AFRs (315cc) don't have any holes for these "extra" bolts. Is this deliberate or did AFR screw up? Is this going to be a problem later on--especially with sealing?

Thanks.

Ben,
Some heads have them, others do not. Most of the performance heads do not, they cause a slight restriction in the port. Make sure the gasket you use matches the port profile. The missing bolt will not hurt a thing.

It's just that someone pointed that out to me and I got a little concerned.
Thanks.

No problem as Bill said.
AFR does not use the bolts, they use the 1275 Fel Pro's ;)
