Any guesses on worth of a 621 bell housing in excellent shape cleaned and painted with no cracks and no stripped threads? Includes pivot ball. I'm thinking maybe $150, too high?

I think the price sounds reasonable. New ones are around $200+shipping.

I just bought one in Carlisle that is in excellent shape for 225. I talked him down 25 bucks. If you can get one for 150 buy it, as the parts become rarer, the price goes up. 5 years ago a 621 bell averaged 125-150. Frank

just picked one up for a buddy at a swap meet for 40 bucks. I tried to sell him the one I had with a crack on the bottom for 60. Since it was a friend who really needed it, instead of flipping it we just passed it along to him for 40, but that doesnt always happen. Then again he needed a posi rear for his 66 elcamino, I sold him a original 10 bolt 66 posi for $125. Jim
