First time changing cam, I don't know what Cam bearings are suppose to look like but I'm guessing its not like this:

Engine only has 25K and was assembled by a copetent machine shop, oil pressure is a little low at idle(15-17psi) but runs strong at higher rpms. How bad are they?

Changing them is not much of an option as I have no more money or time, but I would like to know if this is leading to a drastic engine failure or are they not as serious. Thanks for the input!

Engine runs real strong and doesn't knock or anything.

They are a bit ugly but I think you will be ok.
Looks like the engine may have been started without proper prelubing.
Stock cam bearings are very soft & smear quite easily.

At the cost of $15 i'd put new bearings in. See if you can borrow the tool for this, some tool rental yards stock the tool.
