Hello Godsend from a fellow countryman!

Nice run, but any bogging costs ET you now. Your new converter will probably take care of that. Do you purge your nitrous system correctly before you run? Could be a rich bog unless you do..

I've got some questions for you since you got some bbc experience.

- A 2-bolt castcrank 454 with 0.600 rollercam, rollerrockers,830 AD, new generator, tiltonstart etc. Price 35 000:- Good deal if it runs ok, no smoke?

- What cam are you running? I'd like some of that torque...Lift,duration, partnumber?

- What CR do you run? Iron heads I pressume.

Thanks, you da streetchamp! ;)

Hello mats. I use a XR292R cam from compcams. 254/260 666/660 lift. Comp 939 Springs, their steel retainers and +050 offset locks. The heads is pocket ported 781 ovalport heads with larger valves.

I think 35000:- 4000$ is a normal price. In our country. But give him a bid lower and see how far he goes ;)

Im sure there will be no problem with crank or block. Dont spray it 300hp ;)

What a totally cool deal. looks like you're just off on a country road somewhere. IMO, racing in the US is way too over commecialized, what you're doing looks like fun.

Might want to go to a slightly more pliable( softer) welding rod to give it some more flex.

Or settle down in the 10.2's! smile.gif

I vote more spray and damn the torpedoes. Ready for the twin fogger setup yet?

godsend
Oct 22nd, 03, 4:48 PM
I bought a new A1 10" Converter with alot more stall and less slip.

So that with a 4.11 gear would help times a bit.

Then ill go 2xfogger with twin plates ,)

Do you spray with only fogger?

On my car I use a fogger and 2 plates. I also crewchief an outlaw car that we use 2 foggers on a sheetmetal intake with 2 dominators. I found out this last weekend you can't use a plate on a Hogan sheetmetal intake with a single carb adapter. LOL!
