I need some info on which shock to run in the back of my 66 chevelle convertible. I have a 9 inch rear and global west control arms, the upper ones are adjustable. I am going to be running a 275/60R15 tire so I need some fenderwell room. What would be a good shock to run? I was thinking just an air shock so I would be able to adjust the height for the taller tire? What do you guys think?

I don't think you need air shocks for clearnce for that size tire. A friend of mine ran a set of L60-15's, with is a little wider than the 275/60, on his '70 with no problem, unless everybody was jammed in his backseat. On my '66 I have a set of QA1 Stocker Star shocks. They are adjustable for the rebound and compression stroke, so they may take a little time to get them set right with the car. Can't give much more info on them as the '66 is still in pieces (soon, so very soon). Hope this helps.
