(1970 Chevelle Malibu Convertible) My horn is not working! Yes, I have read a lot about the Horn Relay, however... not knowing much about car's electical systems, I currently have a horn wire going to the horn relay like described in many other posts, however, where does the other horn wire go? I've seen on some non chevelle diagrams, the wire going to ground, others with it going to the battery. Which is it? Is the lead coming from the horn relay live? in which case I would assume the other wire coming form the horn should go to ground. Is this correct?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That's correct, the horn button on the wheel switches ground. The horn relay has constant 12v+ and is energized by ground from horn button and then supplies 12v+ to the horn which is grounded to the core support.

There is only one wire going to the horn itself, a power wire (green ?) that is "hot" when the relay is energized by the horn button contact which sends a ground to the relay's operating coil.

The horn(s) get their ground through their mounting.

The smaller black wire from the relay to the horn button contact gets grounded to the steering wheel.

There should be a jumper wire/strap at the rag joint also.

Bad wire in Rag joint. I have searched posts, and cant find where to obtain replacement copper ground horn wire inside the "Rag Joint".

Make one from any old braided ground strap.
