What would you guys feel about going to the XXX Spring Opener in Issaquah after the Smokey Point show? They are both on the 20th and the awards for Smokey Point are at 3pm. I figured after awards we could hit up the XXX to check out the cars and maybe eat some burgers for dinner. It would probably take about an hour to cruise all the way to Issaquah, maybe more. It might be too much car stuff for one day, I dunno just looking for your feelings. See you guys soon, Brett

I might have to work 1/2 a day on the 20th but the time frame might work out that I can meet you as you go through Clearview or ???

Depending on how the day turns out I may be up for it since I'm that far north for the day anyway. You can never get too much car stuff in a day.

Just a FYI for anyone who hasn't been to one of the XXX actual shows (vs one of their cruise-ins)...

They are insane. Huge. Gigantic. Think 600-800 cars.
Forget about being able to get into the XXX for food or service, they are swamped. Cars get parked tight.... ALmost to the point where you can't view them well. Gillman BLVD backs up with the parking for the event...

Personally, I won't go to their 'car shows' because it is just too darn busy and tight. I love their cruise nights though...

All that being said-... by the time the Smokey point show is over (3pm-ish) the XXX show will also be winding down, so maybe by the time you get down there (4pmish) it will not be so busy and you can enjoy it a little more.

Ben, thanks for the info. I'd hate to get there and not be able to get some chow. If there are a couple of things in this world I like its a good cheeseburger. If I can't get one at the XXX, I ain't going.
