They're full of lint and junk on the inside cups for the pushrods.

Should I just blow them out with an air gun or what?

Taylor,

Misc question, why did you go with Lunati solid lifters? Just courious, as I have always used Federal Mogul, is the design different?
On cleaning them, I would blow them out, then use a carb cleaner, blow them out again, then soak them in oil.

Fred.

The only reason why I went with their lifters is mainly because I didn't feel I needed any really fancy [read: expensive] hi-po lifters for my application, and I just went and looked at the reccommended part number on my cam card and found them on summit.

Take one or two apart and see if there's any trash inside left over from machining. If so, I'd disassemble them all and clean them.

Bob,
some solids look like a hydraulic with the heavy retainer. Just do not have a plunger... It is "solid" acting but not a solid chunk of lifter.

Oops! Just now read solid in the message title. That's what I get for speedreading.
