Hi, I am looking for something to dress my tires with. A lot of folks tend to dunk them in armor-all. I am looking for something that will give them a nice stock appearance.

Thanks

Mark, I use Meguiar's vinyl and rubber protectant. It comes in a spray bottle, but I don't spray it directly on the tires, cause it tends to get slopped on the wheels. I spray it on a waxing pad, and wipe it on the tires, then wipe the excess off with a rag. I go thru a bottle every summer, between the car, truck and trailer.

When I was kid I used to use brake fluid. It made the tires look like new without making them shiny. I don't know if it was good or bad for the tires, but they did look good

Highly recommend their vinyl shine product for that new original look or you can make them more glossy if you apply more product.

Also, their mist and shine detailer product is the best I've found.

They do have some distributors around the country but I usually order off the website.

Good advice as usually Bill. I picked up a bottle today. That was the look I was after.

Thanks again 68er!

The Mcguires package I have has a small applicator thats curved to fit the sidewall of a tire. Works nice.
