Can anyone tell me anything about this transmission?
I think its a turbo 350,& someone thought it was out of a 68 chevelle.
It has a big "C 3" that looks it was eather welded on it or cast into it,but not symetracal like a machine cast.
The casting # is 8640820.
There is a stampped # that reads 580702.
It's suppose to have a 3,000 stall & a shift kit.
Any clues to it's Identiy would be helpful.

i CAN GET MEASUREMENTS TONIGHT.i DO HAVE ANOTHER TURBO 350 & THE PAN LOOKS TO BE APROX THE SAME SIZE,BUT THIS PAN ON THE ONE IN QUESTION... IS DEEPER,& HAS FINS CAST INTO IT.
Sorry about the cap locks,I type slow & just realized they were on & would take me forever to re-wright this.
