I have a 402A3LUN cam, it's a solid cam. The card says .028''in/.030''ex. I'm guessing this is the hot reading, right? It doesn't specify. If so, what is the cold lash, with aluminum heads? Wouldn't it be like .026''in/.028''ex, or something? Thanks.

Taylor, set them at anywhere from .020" to .022" cold. They'll open up 4 thou ( approx - every motor is different) when warm, and you do want them a schooch tight for run in. I run that cam at .019" cold always. That's about 0.0235" in my motor.
