Just pulled my factory AM/FM radio out of my 72 El Camino and am wondering what I should ask for a starting bid IF I put it on Ebay?? It is in great shape with good (non broken) knobs.

Most stock AM radios will run in the $100.00 dollar range, little more, little less.
they are not exactly a gold mine.

Not sure what the 72 model am/fm's are going for, but the 66 model is bringing about 6 or 7 hundred even if they don't work.
You might watch the auctions for awhile and see what they go for.

Ebay is the way to go. You will get every penny of what it is worth if you list it so people that are looking for one can find it.

I agree with the last two posts, eBay it.

Start with a low bid and describe it well. Make sure you put in the title all cars it fits. Chevelle, Malibu , El Camino. 72, 1972, You get the idea.

In 1966, Vancouver, Canada only had one FM station so FM radios were rare in this area, out east the percentage was much better.

For a 66 AM FM $600 to $1000, 72 is probably a little less because they were more common.
