I have just fired off my 383 what do you guys think I can expect power wise...Here is what it is:
350-4 bolt main block
400 crank, 5.7 rods, flat top pistons, block decked to 0 valve clearance
comp xe 284 hyd. flat tappet cam
crane needle bearing roller rockers 1.6
edelbrock performer rpm alum. heads, 64cc 2.02 & 1.64 valves
edelbrock air gap intake, holley 750 dp carb.
Accell Plugs(Pretty cold) and Accell 8.8 wires
MSD Pro-billet dist. MSD 6AL box, MSD blaster 2 coil, Pro Cam Fuel pump.
pressure regulated at 7
The dist. has a black bushing, heavy silver spring and light silver spring
Turbo 350 with a 3000stall, Eaton posi with 3.73's. 10bolt 8.2

good enough to get you into the 12's on the 1/4 which is faster than most cars on the road.
